Founder & Managing Director, PrimaVie Health Resources Ltd Community Pharmacist | Public Health Professional |Healthcare Entrepreneur | Mentor | PSN Member "As pharmacists, we don't just dispense medicines; we empower healthier lives. My goal is to help young pharmacists find their voice, build with purpose, and lead with confidence." I am Nwamaka Ezedinma, a licensed community pharmacist, public health advocate, and healthcare entrepreneur with over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning community pharmacy, occupational health and safety, audit and assurance, and health systems innovation. I am proud to be an active member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) and deeply committed to shaping the future of our profession through mentorship. In 2015, I founded PrimaVie Pharmacy, a purpose-driven retail pharmacy chain focused on holistic wellness. Today, our three pharmacy outlets serve as community hubs, offering expert pharmaceutical care, nutrition guidance, and lifestyle coaching. Our mission is simple: to redefine the pharmacy experience through people-centered, accessible, and high-quality care. In 2024, our organization was proud to be recognized as the Best Retail Pharmacy in Rivers State. Significantly, PrimaVie is accredited as a Pharmacists Internship Training Centre, where I have mentored a number of pharmacy interns through the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria’s Internship Programme. This is a core aspect of our work and a reflection of my deep passion for building future leaders in pharmacy. Prior to my entrepreneurial journey, I worked as an Associate in Assurance Services at PwC Nigeria, gaining insights into organizational systems and strategy. I also served as an Industrial Hygienist with Total E&P Nigeria, where I led occupational health programs in complex industrial settings. My multi-disciplinary experiences have shaped my well-rounded approach to pharmacy leadership. I hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2003), and a Master’s in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. As a wife, mother, and mentor, I value purpose-driven leadership, lifelong learning, and integrity. I am excited to support young pharmacists who are looking to grow, specialize, or explore entrepreneurship in their careers. I believe mentorship is a powerful tool for professional transformation, and I am honoured to contribute to the PSN’s vision of a stronger, united pharmacy workforce Career Snapshot Founder & Managing Director PrimaVie Health Resources Ltd | 2015 – Present • Founded and expanded a retail pharmacy chain offering integrated pharmaceutical and wellness services • Recognized as Best Retail Pharmacy in Rivers State (2024) • Established and manage a Pharmacists Internship Training Centre, mentoring interns under the PCN framework; Recognized by PSN Rivers for professional development contributions • Featured on Lagos Television (LTV) during COVID-19, promoting the role of community pharmacists in public health • Served as panelist at pharmacy conferences Industrial Hygienist (Contract) Total E&P Nigeria | 5 Years • Led workplace health risk assessments, audits, and HSE compliance programs • Delivered strategic support to occupational health teams in industrial settings • Developed and promoted industrial hygiene initiatives Associate, Assurance Services PwC Nigeria | 1 Year • Executed audits and evaluated internal controls for clients across various industries • Strengthened risk management and organizational strategy skills Education & Credentials • MPH, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK • B.Pharm, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2003) • Licensed Pharmacist - Pharmacists Council of Nigeria • Member - Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) • Member - Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) • Member - International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP)
