Pharm Anele, Promise Enyi MAW DEPUTY CHIEF PHARMACIST, MEDICAL CENTER RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY . Pharm Anele is an accomplished Pharmacist, a social change agent, astute administrator, an innovative leader and mentor. He is passionate about developing the leadership and managerial skills in individuals to enable them contribute to the socioeconomic development of the nation. A diligent and passionate hospital pharmacist who shows high level of professionalism in discharge of his pharmaceutical services. Played a key role in in the accreditation of pharmacy unit as an internship center. In collaboration with other smart and intelligent pharmacists in unit, ensure excellent pharmaceutical services are offered to patients and every other person that visits the pharmacy unit. His excellent leadership qualities ensures the sustainabilty of Drug Revolving Fund which tremendously ensures the availability and affordability of good quality drugs in the facility. As an advocate for a better ways to do things, he promotes the engagement of Information technology in administrative processes and pharmacy practice in Nigeria. He is a United Nations Office on Drug and Crime/Universal Treatment Curriculum trained addiction councilor who is passionate on helping people who use drug or that has drug-use disorder. He holds a Bachelors of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) of Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State and several certifications. He is a recipient of several awards For his contribution to the development of society through his pharmacy practice and social change activities such as Excellence from the SOUTH-SOUTH Leadership, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN-RIVERS), Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students (PANS-NDU), Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students (PANS-UNIPORT), Young Pharmacist Group (YPG-NATIONAL), Young Pharmacist Group (YPG-RIVERS), Afrihealth, Association of Lady Pharmacists Rivers State branch etc. Pharm Anele has had the privilege of occupying several positions under the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Rivers State branch as Financial Secretary, General Secretary and State Chairman. Under his leadership as PSN Chairman, several innovations that positively impact on members of the society, strategic advocacies that has drastically improved this visibility of pharmacy practice in Rivers State and several achievements that has promoted the public image is Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in Rivers State and beyond. Has served in several PSN national committees including but not limited to member of its Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria National Council. Other positions held by Pharm Anele include President, Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students (PANS-NDU) Vice-Chairman, Pharmaceutical Inspection Committee (P.I.C) Rivers State of Pharmacy Council of Nigeria, Member, Rivers State NAFDAC taskforce against fake, unwholesome adulterated and substandard medicines. 2nd Vice Chairman Joint Health Committee Rivers State, Member of Advisory Board of Kumu integrated services and Head of Pharmacy, Medical Center Rivers State University Port Harcourt. Pharm Anele is a Christian, married to his beloved wife Mrs Anele Tochi and the married is blessed with a beautiful daughter.
