Graduated from Medical Academy Sofia, Bulgaria in 1985 with Master of Pharmacy. She did internship as a pharmacist at State Hospital Adeoyo Ibadan , afterwards the National Youth Service Programme in Rivers State. She was the Superintendent Pharmacist at Maryland Specialist Hospital Lagos, where she worked after the NYSC Program. She later joined the Federal Civil Service and worked at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital till 2020 as she attained the retirement age. She was a consultant with Swiss Pharma Nigeria Limited. She has been rendering free medical services in several NGOs. She is married to Mr. Eben Dokubo , a publishing consultant with lovely children.
